With Carroll supposedly in SEA, scratch Bates off the OC list.

But, Bates could complete a 1st rounder merry-go-round by giving up theirs for Cutler. Chicago would have Seattle's, Seattle still would have Denver's (Alphonso Smith trade last year), and Denver would have Chicago's.

Getting rid of Cutler after one season under a shitty OC behind a shitty line in a new system would be absolutely stupid. I know your a Chargers fan and hate Jay so i'll give you a pass on this one.

BTW bolt, I hope you guys take the whole damn thing this season, LT needs a ring..good luck next week.

Heard Cutler and Martz had dinner over the weekend supposedly to smooth things over after Martz bashed Cutler on TV a lot last year. I guesss dinner went well.

Warner was interviewed today on the local sportstalker and he said the playbook is almost double conventional WC styles, and requires receivers to know 125+ plays with variations each game. Compared to maybe 70 for a conventional WC. Christ, that WR corps rides the short bus. Nightmare.

Cutler has the arm for the Martz system, but not so sure about the brains...

The last time Martz was really successful he had Warner, Holt, and Bruce, not to mention a guy named Faulk.

Could be a long season for Lovie next year.

Are there pitfalls though? Yeah. Some of the ones Epi named are sadly quite valid.

Cutler can do the job, the questions I have are related to the other 10 guys on the field with him.

They are seriously talking about moving Omiyale to RT and Williams slides over to LT.
