Panthers, Wofford College Extend Camp Agreement

The Carolina Panthers and Wofford College have signed a new agreement to keep the team’s training camp at the school, it was jointly announced today. The new agreement is for five years with options for the future.

Wofford has been the only site the Panthers have ever had as a training camp location. The team began training there in July of 1995 and it is one of the four longest continuous camp locations in the National Football League.

I enjoy camp down there. One of the most accessible in the NFL. You can literally stand within a few feet of the players practicing in some cases.

good thing. i love going to the 2 a days with the stop over at the beacon in between. i decided i can't go to the beacon more than twice in a week, though.

even though it's hot....i love having it there.

Yes, there are photo and autograph opportunities. No "professional" type lenses or video cameras are allowed in the public viewing area, but otherwise, you're fine.

Autographs can be gotten by standing along the fence along the path where the players go to and from the practice fields from the locker room facility. More players stop after practice than before, but if you're out early, you can get lucky.
