Saints or Cowboys? Who would you hope wins if it came down to it?

I would go with the Saints. Yea, they are our arch-rivals but I would rather see an NFC South NFC Championship go to a team that has never even been to the Super Bowl. As much as I hate the Saints, and would love to continue to talk poo about their franchise playoff record and the fact they never been to the Super Bowl, I would rather have to do that than have the Cowboys as our NFC Conference Champions. Not to mention, the NFC Easy is overrated enough as it is.

People tend to look at the fans more than the team and I am not the kind of person which is why I would like to see the Boys win. Now don't get me wrong, I can not stand the media attention the Cowboys get and I can not stand the Cowboys fans. However, they have a couple of players that I like, but the main one being Gerald Sensabaugh representing UNC.

I don't think a lot of folks truly grasp how unbearable the media will be if the Cowboys make it ot the SB...

If Saints fans are all unbearable as you it is a toss up. The media slobs on the Saints almost as much as the Cowboys plus we have to suffer trolls like you on our website twice a year. Worse some don't go away. Lets look at how many saints trolls we have had to deal with versus Cowboy trolls.

The choice is alot like asking whether you would rather have your arm amputated or your leg. It is a very tough choice. I dislike the Saints and the Cowboys.

I am rooting hard for the Vikings and hope they win so next week will be easy to pick.

My hate for the Cowholes supersede my hate for the Aint's. I hate how the NFC shakes out because I want neither team that is still in it to go to the super bowl. If it comes down to it, I live on the 7th floor, and if I angle it right, I can hit a brick wall. If that won't work, I'm pulling for Saints

And if you don't think the Saints will be rusty and one step slow, you aren't paying attention to what happens most years.

Saints fans really like to think their offense will do it all when we all know defense wins Superbowls and the Saints defense sucks (25th).

The saints were lucky and the ball seemed to bounce their way every time. As soon as it didn't you lost. when it doesn't next week the country will learn what we already know, the Saints are pretenders. The Saints have the poorest defense of any playoff team going into the post season and will get exposed next week.

Like I said if the Cardinals can do that to them, they will destroy you guys. Your defense has been suspect all year buoyed by lots of turnovers. When you don't get lucky, you get rolled like you did 2 out of the last 3 weeks. Unless the Saints get a big lead they will lose while getting booed. Can't wait.

If Warner can put up 40 points on the second ranked defense, I imagine he could score at least that many against the 25th ranked defense.

They won'e even have any excuses with everyone healthy. Cardinals won't have Boltin and will still walk all over the Saints.

Yeah only then I was unhappy, when they do to you guys I will be ecstatic. Hope you come on here to eat your crow but like all Saints fans you will slink into the background to emerge like a mold down the road.

Bottom line is that the Saints are going to whipped at home next week and the defense is going to suck. Spouting off old stats from years past won't change that. After all these are the Saints.

Laugh now, you will be crying next week.

Bull crap. What will the excuses be when you get beat and are healthy? Bottom line is that your secondary is going to get abused next week no matter who is in there. But keep digging yourelf deeper. It will make the razzing so much better when you get beaten.

now eat your crow like a man, bitch.

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
