contrary to what was expected of him from pre-draft hype or where he was drafted or what it cost to move up there....he was just a rookie in the worst imaginable situation. that's what we saw...a rookie in the worst situation a rookie could be in. there's no way i can pass judgment on what he did last year because of that. again, it's probably true that most people in here are a lot smarter than me and it doesn't take more than one season of a rookie in the worst possible situation to know that he's never going to amount to poo, or to at the least know that he's never going to be one to count on, but that's not where i am. i don't judge people in their worst moments when the deck is stacked against them. if i'm going to judge at all, i do it when i see how they respond in the next moment. -
Our IOL play last season was about as bad as you’ll see in the NFL. -
