03 and its not even remotely close. Even with the terrible ending to it it was still easily the most exciting time thus far as a Panthers fan! Heres to getting back to that SB form next year with Matt Moore at the helm!:cheers2:

my dad has been a fan ever since the creation of the team, and he said 1996 was wild. mine would be 2003 and it didn't surprise me that they made it to the superbowl too much, because in 2002, the defense was soooo good. turnover after turnover!

I was 10 during the 1996 season and while it was awesome to see our Cats get so far so soon nothing compares to the feeling I had when the clock hit 00:00 in Philly and I realized the Cardiac Cats were going to the big dance.

No doubt the Superbowl season. We were like a team that no one care about & not give us respect and we surprise many with pulling off many unexpecting wins. Plus, how can you not love Jake's pass to Smitty for a 69 yards TD in the Playoffs that was the longest in Playoffs history??

Though I can say the season after that when we went 1-7 & Jake lead us to 6 straight wins. That say a lot about our team's heard there. We could have went 1-15 again if our team just gave up at 1-7, but they didn't.

Our first Playoffs in '96, '05 & '08 seasons (before the Playoffs loss against the Cards) were great too.

2003. For those who haven't watched the highlights of it on Hulu go check it out. Brings back awesome memories.

What the best words to type on search there if I may ask?

My favorite season has to be the '03 superbowl season. Of course! I also really enjoyed the '08 season. After the '08 season, I thought we were a dynasty in the making lol. I was brought back down to reality after the playoff game, and even more so after this previous season. I became a fan during the '01 season, so I really dont remember any previous seasons.

What a bad year to become a Cats fan!

Yea man. I was literally forced into being a Panthers fan then lol. I lived in Mississippi at the time, and since I was from NC, everyone just assumed I was a Panthers fan. They'd talk and joke about the Panthers being sorry, and I was always there to try and defend the Panthers so I just said, I might as well be a Panthers fan since I'm always defending them and talking about them.

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
