Would anyone other than the #1 overall pick still be starting at this point?

So the three picks yesterday was scheme?  Cool story bro.

I mean, opposing defenses have an easy life out there and its leads to potentially big days for every D we will face.

there isn’t one singular reason for this mess. It’s them all put together.  But that’s 100% part of it, bro.

We have one game to the contrary and it was the one that Bryce was hurt.  Outside of the pre-snap penalties that stymied drives, the offense was able to move the ball.

part of that was also a VERY veteran QB having to throw the most passes in his entire long career vs a meh D for the team to finally post a respectable day.   I mean, even in our "good".....you see the red flags.  And if you replay that game it probably doesn't go as good as Dalton probably got a little lucky vs some of the pressures.  Got to think at that rate they saw and we survived....we don't deal with that as good.

But yeah, Dalton is better and should be better than Bryce in that scenario.

    • The Jet game/practices/hard knocks was truly the "wtf is happening" moment for the 2023 team.  Everything looked whacked but some on here just cried "preseason doesnt matter" when in fact it clearly does.
    • There were 3 reality checks last year.  1) The joint practice/preseason game with the Jets showed everyone the team wasn't what everyone at BOA stadium thought it was.  2) Dalton starting against Seattle and moving the offense better than Bryce had the first two games or all preseason. 3) Not beating the Bears who were just as beat up as us and knowing we gave them the No. 1 pick.  I think Frank was fired after the Bears game. The blowout loss to Dallas and then not being able to beat an imploding Tennessee team just accelerated it.
    • It's just a talking head.  Talking about gambling. If anybody takes the under on 4.5 wins, they're most likely losing their money.   So he's only saying if you want to bet on a possible sleeper, take the over.  It's not rocket science.  Pathetic that so many on the huddle have reduced themselves to posting purely trash every time they hit the submit button.
