No BS...it's obvious you guys think the Colts will beat the Saints...tell me why?

I think offenses are comparable but the Colt Defense is better than the Saints. Also the Saints didn't look very good 3/4 weeks. Plus if it comes down to one of those must have drives, I would take Peyton over Brees. That's not taking anything away from Brees, I just think over all Peyton is the better QB in this match up.

I certainly don't wanna feed the trolls around here, but I am picking the Saints to win...and no, it's not because Katrina and what the team has done for the city etc etc etc, I just think they have the better team and if Freeney doesn't play, they won't get the constant pressure on Brees that we will need to make enough of a difference.

NO B.S, it's this simple

The Colts realistically should be undefeated, that's 18-0.

The Saints have realistically lost two games this year, against the Cowboys and the Bucs (haha, that one makes me laugh). We won't count when the Panthers absolutely thrashed you guys in week 17.

The same Cowboys team got absolutely manhandled in every aspect of the game by the Vikings, the team you guys barely beat and was decided based on other factors not including offense, defense, special teams, or coaching.

All that equates to COLTS>SAINTS. And no bs.

I don't think the Saints will get destroyed, I actually expect it to be a pretty close game - but in the end I think Manning will prevail.

The only way I can see the Saints coming out on top is to establish a run game and work the clock - keep Manning off the field as much as possible.

Before I start, I'll say I don't think it will be a blowout. I think it'll be a close game to the finish. Colts will win though IMO.

1) Colts defense is HUGELY underrated. They held Jets run game to under 100 yards, and Jets run game is the strongest in the NFL.

2) Saints defense relies hugely on mistakes by the opposing team and they're probably the best at capitalizing off of those mistakes, however-- Colts are a team that do not make mistakes like the Vikings did. Sure they might occasionally slip up, but they don't turn the ball over 5+ times in a game. They give up too many big plays and Peyton will take advantage of that.

3) (this one is just for fun) Colts players aren't out partying till 4am less than a week before the SB like Reggie Bush :D

This. The Saints have depended on the misfortunes and mistakes of other teams all year, including needing the Vikes to want to lose just to get here. The Colts are as professional as it gets, and GW talk about hoping to have Manning hurt has put a spotlight in this area. That was a total fugup, the refs will be on them extra tight, especially with Manning as QB. Brees is good of course, but he has been known to be overwhelmed and make mistakes and the Colts offense will take advantage of them. I see it close in the first half, Colts make proper adjustments at the half and win by 13.

The Saints have FORCED mistakes from other teams all year. They call them "takeaways" for a reason. This was the whole reason behind hiring Williams in the offseason.

Don't be bitter, guy. Your team will be back in it soon enough.

The Colts most likely won't turn it over like the Vikings did. While I understand that the Saints created those turnover opportunities, we all know that the Vikings offense is known for costly turnovers. Adrian Peterson is famous for his fumblitis, and we all know about Favre. If the Colts limit or eliminate those opportunities, then I think they win hands down. If the Saints can win the turnover battle, I think they have a great shot to win. Again, it'll be a lot harder to get Manning, Addai and Garcon to cough it up. Just my opinion.
