No BS...it's obvious you guys think the Colts will beat the Saints...tell me why?

Am I the only one who thinks that the Colts are the underdog, not the Saints? New Orleans has a better run game, and equally talented QB, a slightly better defense, just as talented WRs, and an equally genius coaching staff.

Other than Peyton, I don't see why people think the Colts are going to win. I hate the Saints more than any team in the NFL, but I just know they're going to win this. I'll be rooting for an upset! Haha!

Saints ran the ball well the first half of the season, 2 100+ yd rushers. Since then, not so good, how many failed attempts on third and short against the Vikes? On the defensive side, Saints have been gashed by the run in the second half of the season. They give up alot of long runs because their Safeties and DB's don't tackle well and seem to shy from contact. Look for the Colts to run right at them to open up the middle of the field for Clark. Also the Saints "telegraph" their plays with their substitutions.

This game is clearly going to come down to turnovers.

The Saints D is good when they get turnovers. They have struggled to win when they have not.

The Colts and Manning don't turn the ball over much.

If the Saints get the turnovers....they have a real good chance at winning.

If the Saints don't get the turnovers....they lose by two scores.

I actually agree with most of this. But one question and it's a serious one; why will the Colts D stop us?

Agreed... Saints will tell you they don't want to get caught in a shootout with the Colts, nobody does. Saints may score a TD 8/10 times in a shootout, Colts will score a TD 10/10 times in a shootout.

On top of all that, the Saints had a nasty habit of starting slow in games all season. You start slow against the Colts and you might as well start packing the bus for the trip to the airport. You spot the Colts 17 or 24 points like you did the Dolphins or us and the game is over.

If you needed any other reason to think the Colts will win this game, consider that this Saints team lost to the Buccaneers in week 16.... that's right, the Buccaneers. There is no chance in hell that the Colts would lose to a team like the Bucs, even on their worst day.

Colts D doesn't have to "stop" you, just has to slow you down and hold you to FG's in a few cases while Manning scores TD's on you.

works both ways my brother...I saw Manning and Indy PLENTY of times this year have to settle for FG's. We hold them to FG's and give up 600 yds, we have a shot.

It is based off the actual games the Saints have played. When they did not get turnovers, they struggled....both on offense and defense.

The Colts D has actually played well the 2nd half of the season.

Manning and that offense is just SO mythodical. They exploit every mistake you make and don't make mistakes themselves.

The Saints Offense is big play. The Colts don't give up alot of big plays.

Don't get me wrong...I think this will be an entertaining game. I just like the Colts in this one.

Yeah, #1 offense in the league can't win a shootout. Uhhhh ok.
