this one started off nicely, but it didn't take long for it to lean towards meh.

the trick is knowing where positions you would like to take care of will fall off a cliff. there might be a guy or two you like at a certain spot, but if you are committed to getting the best players possible for a few positions, you have to know what you have available at each, because if you aren't paying attention you'll wind up with a whole pile of blah after your two or three good picks.

Not bad. I personally love the idea of getting 2 WRs in R2 but I don't think it's realistic after we gutted the defense so bad and we have bunch of role players.

They could do something like this if they really wanted to. It's going to dilute the talent pool alot though so you better hope Morgan is exponentially better at drafting mid-late round than Fitterer, Gettleman, or Hurney was.

I'm not understanding this fanbases love affair with McConkey and Legette. I don't see anything super special but then again I'm a victim of highlight tapes. I don't have the time to go watch their entire game film.

I feel like his game is a little too similar to Diontae Johnson and Theilen, but I guess you could argue Theilen is old as fug and would be a great mentor.

Mcconkey is super quick, incredible routes, and catches frickin everything. And you can line him up everywhere. He's the reliable guy you want for your QB. But I like Pearsall for the same reasons and just about as much.

Leggette is could be a big fast stuff that fights for everything. Comparisons with Metcalf are on point. With that said, it could just be the idea of Leggette rather than the actuality of him. He only has one good year of production. He could be great or he could be Mingo.... someone that you keep looking at and wondering if he will ever be as good as you think he could be

    • Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.
    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
