There's no way Fitt or anyone in this front office should still have a job.

Worst team in the league by far (which, considering the level of sick not just in division, but in conference is quite an accomplishment) and you traded away your first pick....you sold the farm for the first pick and the coaching staff you hired smell of the hunger games, then your head coach gets fired and the whole coaching staff you spent mega millions on us a getting fired too?

Wow what a failure. Probably the worst failure in the history of the league.

I know it's on Tepper, but the heads that roll on this (and there will be) dont belong to the owner and his wife.

At the end of the day, it's also easy to spot why this team is the worst roster, bar none: Drafting has simply been terrible.

We were told the 2021 draft was all Rhule, but you watch the post-draft pressers, and outside of the fact Rhule already looked mentally checked out, Scott was the guy answering qs about strategy, trade calls, team boards, etc.  Scott even mentioned turning down offers for #8--they kept it because they loved Horn THAT much.  This perception it was all Rhule is a bit shortsighted IMO.  Fitterer has had plenty of say since day 1 of arrival.

6 of those 11 2021 picks are off the team.  With 1 more good as gone (TMJ).  The remaining 4: Horn, Brady C, Tremble, & Hubbard.

Then, the 2022 draft was the one we were told via reports Fitt had more clear, a bit more leeway over MR.  That was just last year, and only half/3 of those 6 guys are on the team anymore.  2 of those goners we wasted picks trading up for (Corral, Brandon Smith)

Then this past season, Zavala and Robinson were ineffective.  We wasted more value trading up for DJJ who has been mostly ineffective.  Mingo is about the 8th most impressive WR in this class, and I don't want to even get into Bryce and what we gave away.

Fitt has simply burned through too much without hitting a single pick.  Not one pick is a certified value find.

Chubba freaking Hubbard is the most consistent and successful pick in our last 3 drafts lol.

Ignored the better opportunities that came to us and went too hard as the aggressor for the wrong guys.  If you're going to take that aggressive chip mover mentality, you better hit.  And he has not and the roster is terrible.  Simple as that.

    • How they treated the Baker/Sam thing was a joke. He was used as a DE on the PS. He may not have been any good here had he really been given a chance to succeed, but that whole situation was a clusterfug. I don't blame him for wanting out of this Tepper led poo show.
    • Might be the only terms on which both sides could agree. Morgan probably wanted 3 years and Mays' agent probably pushed him for a prove-it deal. Immediately leaking the desire to test the market only furthers this notion.
    • I'm sure someone can look it up on this board, but back when we jettisoned Darnold, I'd tried to defend him saying that he was still a young QB with a high ceiling, he was just surrounded here with bad coaching and a poorly built team. I said he'd see a Super Bowl before we did.  And people just laughed.  Same folks who said Baker Mayfield sucked and was a washout. Same folks who live to slam Bryce. (And honestly, my decision on Bryce is still hanging out there, undecided, swaying from yes to no). I'm not saying I know a damned thing about raising up a QB, but I know that I'm not as clueless as some others. Some of these kids that come out as top draft picks get thrown into the fire on a badly built team, a desperate lower tier HC, OCs and QB coaches that are struggling to move up the ladder and an injured, mad fanbase that wants immediate results or it's to the chopping block with some kid that just had the temerity to do well in college football and then come to the podium when their name was called.
