Panthers add former Falcon to roster

Last Monday, J'Vonne Parker wanted nothing more than to see the Panthers fall at New Orleans.

Forty-eight hours later, he was a part of the effort to keep that from happening.

Seems he's been a perpetual practice squader for Atlanta, Cleveland, Baltimore and Dallas. Still, it's good to have a little depth at defensive tackle. And if we end up playing Atlanta, perhaps he could provide us with a few tips on attacking their defense. He seems to boast about being a smart guy, being that he went to Rutgers. :ihih:

Notice that Damione Lewis is in one of those practice photos.....

We get both of our DTs back this week, and hopefully Otah comes back. We can survive without the Hangman, though our depth is sorely lacking if that is the case.

Someone has to take the practice reps to get ready for next week while the starters heal. Fox did the right thing sitting him last week. My guess is he is ready to go.

I hope it is just a matter of needing a body for practice, and maybe depth down the road, cause this guy hasn't done jack squat since he has been in the league except bounce around.

He doesn't even have any recorded tackles from what I can find so far, and that many teams, in such few years.....geeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhhhh!

I can't for the life of me believe for one second, there isn't a DT with better qualifications out there somewhere just dying to play.

maybe he is just raw. It is bad that he keeps getting moved but sometimes that means people keep trying to stash a player and other teams are wise to it.

I just want our boys back by kickoff on the tenth.
