You know ..one man trash..another man's treasure. I think it's best for everyone that he moves on. Hope he has a good year/rest of career. He played well for us......errr..well more than he played bad for us.

Looking at that list, if the Panthers don't bring any of the QBs from last year's roster back, I could see them signing Rex Grossman as a vet backup to Moore.

No! I'd much prefer us to try to get Croyle and have him compete for a 2nd string position with a draft signing. The FO is being smart hopefully and will assess the FAs vs. the possible draftees. Most free agents suck hard this year and we should make as little splash as possible imo.

    • Good read and stuff under it is not bad either. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/panthers-cb-jaycee-horn-says-184519429.html
    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
