Also if Tripp said power play or Shane said they will get rewarded one more time I was gonna flip my poo.

Their player was literally laying on the puck and then tried to paw it back tripped Skjei and then held his stick. I think it was fuging Fox. I’m not sure.

I think when Guetzal and Kuzenetzov gets used to everyone , they will be major contributors

Also cheers to Kooch , kept us in inspite of terrible turnovers

We got to find a way to get past these strong defensive teams, like Vegas who made Bob and upchuck look mediocre

Jam 2nd we beat the rags in the Garden 6-1 with Shesterkin in net so it can be done.

Gonna take some games. Plus, those two played awesome. Those goals will come.

Well obviously it was tongue in cheek but not from the broadcast.

KK line > Aho > Kuz > Staal for overall offensive play and general play. Fast needs to go back on the Staal line for games like this, he was real Fast today and probably our best forward on the ice overall.

Rod needs to put Gunz and Kuz on different lines for now too. Give them time to adjust.

I personally feel like the Kuznetsov line needs a stronger forechecking presence.

I originally was against a Svechnikov - Kuznetsov - Necas line but I think I might be for it.

Guentzel - Aho - Teravainen

Svechnikov - Kuznetsov - Necas

Martinook - Staal - Jarvis

Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Fast

Drury, Lemiuex

And if you want to give the first line an additional forechecker then swap Teravainen and Jarvis.

This is exactly how I would have our lines, only one cavit swap Jarvis and Fast,

Jarvis was actually scoring far more with Noesen-KK-Jarvis (they were our second line for like 2 months) just have the Martinook-Staal-Jarvis line as the cloud

Checkers avaim.

I’d go

Gunz - Aho - TT

Svech - Kuz - Jarvis

Martinook - Staal - Fast

Noesen - Drury/KK - Necas

In a game like this the Staal line needs Fast. I hate to say it, Jarvis did jack poo tonight.

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
