Its Chad Pennington all over again.

Awesomeness!!

Remember when the Packers traded old man Favre to the Jets? The Jets turned around, and got rid of Chad Pennington? The Fins went to the playoffs that year. Sure, they had a young QB, but why roll the dice, when you know what you're getting with a veteran QB? Jason Campbell is gone in DC, and we have to pick him up.

did you just compare jason campbell to chad pennington?!?! pennington was the runner up to the mvp his first year with the dolphins and has won comeback player of the year TWICE.

I agree getting a vet to have your young qb play behind (henne behind pennington) but campbell isnt exactly what you'd have in mind when talking about that scenario.

This...

Also Campbell is just not a smart QB... I've watched him play, even given time the guy does not make good reads and does not make good passes. No part of me wants him in Carolina. Moore has been a good decision maker, which is key. This year Moore needs to improve on his accuracy with intermediate routes....

Campbell has nothing but raw physical talent which is not enough to be a good QB in the NFL these days.... He's had plenty of opportunities to show what he can do... he did and failed... We don't need the garbage would bring.

What is the god forsaken love affair with a QB that is like 6000 games under .500 with the DEADSKINS.

Cambell is a scrub and I would take David Carr back before I took Campbell. And you would have to beat me with a brick baseball bat to convince me to take Carr. Leave Campbell in DC and forget about making him a Panther.

have you lost your mind? he may be done there, but why would we want him when we have a better qb? adding him would add speculation that he would compete for the starting job which would be bad for the team. Moore is better in every way, maybe the browns will go after Campbell:D

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
