I freaking hate teams that cut block all freaking game.  I can’t recall seeing a team do it to the extent Lousivlle is in a long time.  Does it work? Yes. It has worked this game.   It totally Impacts how a defensive front plays because they don’t want to get hurt.  Has this game.

Pretty sure Louisville finally snapped someone’s leg just there.

Clemson’s O isn’t doing their job so the L will be on them and the O.  They should be good enough to outside them.  They ain’t tonight. L is in the O.

But for real, fug cut blocking kids all freaking game.   It works.  To me that cheap and dirty football.

I don’t think this is the normal approach.  Think they thought their weakened OL couldn’t hang so they consistently have cut blocked all game.  Taken 2 freaking DL out with it.   And it just  has killed the front of Clemson from being able to play……and I don’t blame them for playing cautious and not wanting their knees blown.

I wish they would just ban cut blocking.  Hope Dabo makes a lot of noise about what BS it is.  Specifically as an all game strategy by your whole OL.  Maybe not directly after the game (because it’s crying then), but I hope he gets on that soapbox eventually

ball game in Clemson.

fug Lousivlle and their cut blocking.

Well, I was wrong about Clemson.  Thought their O was better than it apparently is.

Clemson might take 2 more Ls after this.  That’s Gamecocks game being 1 of them

Nope Miami will win by default. They have the best QB in the ACC. Ward is good enough to win this awful conference.

They will get exposed in the playoffs tho. Can't take the ACC champions serious in the playoffs.

It's about more than just QB and superstars, man. Miami's defense is awful. They don't have much room for error on offense. I've seen how that usually works out over the course of a full season. You're almost always gonna take a couple of unexpected Ls because your offense has an off day, turnovers, or just a bad break or two. You get too dazzled by star power.

    • Serious question. Based off what? Morgan has one of the worst drafts in franchise history followed by what appears to be one of the best. We also don't have a winning season under Dan yet.  He "fixed" our oline by buying 2 guards making us the most expensive unit in the league. Unfortunately, it didn't really produce a lot of results and 2 years later needs major help. Our defense was the worst in nfl history, followed by better, but still below average. He gave 2 years to Dalton, who was already washed up. He's made a few good moves too like Coker as an udfa, we offered him the most $, and the Jackson trade.  At the moment, I'd say his ability to build a team is unknown. He was also assistant during Fitterer's tenure. And for those saying he wasn't making any decisions, you don't get promoted to GM if you've never actually done the job. That'd be like Bill Gates PA getting promoted to CEO just because he was in the same room when he brought him coffee. Morgan was involved in those 3 years of incompetence.  I still think the best GM we ever had was Bill Pollian. From expansion to playoffs in 2 years was quite a feat before he took off for Indy. Overall though, I'd say our GM bar is quite low to hurdle to be the best.
    • Don't forget Willis. I'm going to hold out hope that we get an actual backup dammit so let me dream.
    • Yeah I haven’t looked deeply at it either. There isn’t much in the way of obvious diamonds in the rough among the usual listed suspects.  Past Mac Jones and Daniel Jones, a bunch of meh.   And I am not in on either. Daniel Jones was gonna be a bargain last year.
