Every John Fox/Hurney draft pick

Uh yeah, there are plenty of guys that can contribute that are drafted in the mid rounds or even undrafted that come in and contribute right away. And since you brought up wide receivers in your previous post we will look at them. We drafted Keary Colbert and Drew Carter in 2OO4 and passed on Wes Welker, Malcom Floyd, Patrick Crayton, Mark Jones, Ernest Wilford, Jerricho Cotchrey, and Bernard Berrian.

In 2OO7 we drafted Dwayne Jarrett before Steve Smith, Mike-Sims Walker, Johnnie-Lee Higgins, and Yamon Figurs. As where Ryne Robinson was drafted before Steve Breaston.

The point is the Panthers reach to much, and can't draft worth a damn after the first 3 Rounds.

Any more smart-ass comments???

You can take any team and If they have one draft bust in any round, list of numrous ones they couldve gotten. It happens with all teams.

Also, Hayden was drafted in the sixth round. Its not like there was much to expect. As for Irvin he had zero tackles and zero games played. So how can you effectivley judge him?

Deshaun Foster was a good pick imo. He would have been a great player had he not been bit by the injury bug. I honestly believe he would have been really special. Drew Carter was pretty decent for a 5th round pick. Hangman was a great selection and Michael Gaines was never used to his talents. Javon Haye is a good player, just not for us.

I agree, but I put into consideration how long Hangartner and Carter played for us. We could've picked Tom Brady, but if we traded him away early it would've been useless to us. Foster in his prime was good, but he got bad fast.

I don't think you can look at the last two drafts and say "potential" because when you look at the older drafts, there are large numbers of nobodies who at the time you would've said had the same potential. Let's be honest, we've drafted a handful of studs but that's it. But the same can be said about every team in the NFL.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is good for the most part.

I would say Hangman deserves to be green.

I see great first round picks, a couple of nice second-round picks with some busts thrown in there, and mainly crap in every other round when compared to good teams in the league.

You should back that statement up.
