I was looking for Bryce. I can't tell if he's not there, or if the camera is just too high.

But in all seriousness, imagine being coddled, protected, postured, and positioned to win your whole life, and then over 18 games, you prove you aren't just not good at this level but you're actually one of the worst to ever do it, get replaced, and the QB who has sat behind you that entire time sets multiple milestones and the locker room is going crazy.  Tbh, he probably wants to be traded at this point.

FTFY

Just kidding, of course. I know, he's worth millions and in the long run he'll be fine. But in his shoes, I would be so horrifically embarrassed that I couldn't show my face in public after that game, much less in that locker room with everyone celebrating the chance to play WITHOUT me.

Yeah. I remember Tepper doing the same for Wilks…walking in, hugging him and calling him ‘brother’

look what happened to him.

I meant specifically with football...  and I would say all the way from middle school through college, Bryce was put in that position.

I really don't understand.

He was elite in middle school, high school and college.  He was one of the best at every level pre-NFL.  He earned all of his previous accolades.  Even if he's the biggest NFL bust in history I don't understand what you mean.  As if, now looking horrible in the NFL has somehow pulled away the curtain and exposed what a fake he was all along.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
