Are you sure we are going QB with our 1st?

Why is Bryce still on the roster. There were reports multiple teams were interested in trading for him and we said no.

We can always get a QB later in the draft.

If we draft at or near the top, we must consider a QB. We just can't go into another season passing up superior potential at the QB position. At the point we pass up one of the top QBs, we may as well be saying that we're OK with a retread and basically being unstable at the position for who knows how long, including ready to give up draft capital in ill-advised deals to move up and get one in some unspecified draft in the coming years. Because we are so bad this year, I would hope that this would be the closest that we'd be to the top QB talent in the draft without giving up a king's ransom to move up.

I would like to think that Bryce is still on the team because we fancy ourselves holding off on a trade until we can get a better deal, whether that be before the trade deadline or during the offseason.

No, they lost 4 straight.

The Bills have the distinction of being the only team to advance to four consecutive Super Bowls between 1990 and 1993, but also the regrettable distinction of losing all four of them.

Thats right forgot about that. Those poor, poor Bill fans.

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
