Would you trade Williams for Big Ben?

How many "good" quarterbacks have won Super Bowls in recent years? Hell, most of the teams that have even gone have been led by elite quarterbacks.

Rep.

Exactly..

Brees

Manning

Favre

were in the final four last year...

Ben won the SB the year before...if you didnt forget.

That's why I said 'possible', but I'm biased wanting more for players like dwill because I am a panther fan. The panthers wouldn't do this because it would cost money. It would be awesome if cowher came in and they did go after Ben.The FO has made it clear Matt is the guy and so it just won't happen.

Look what Ben did behind Pitts offensive line(arguably one of the worst in the league..) and an above average receiving core/run game.

Couldn't imagine him behind one of the best offensive lines and arguably the best running game + Smitty.. it'd be ridiculous.

I love DWill, but come on guys..

They'd want more than Williams. He hasn't been convicted of anything, he's just an asshole that the locals are sick of.

They don't need to dump him and they won't without fair compensation. A great RB isn't fair compensation for a franchise/champion QB.

    • Thank you so much for posting links to the players so I don’t have to copy and paste the name and look it up.
    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
