Screw Ben I hate that bastard. I would be pissed if we even thought about bringing in a guy that thinks he has the right to sexually assault women. If the Rooney's really are that pissed about this then it is likely because they think Ben is guilty and just happened to get off. I don't buy the whole "we just don't like him putting himself in that position" BS. They know what he did that night and that he got lucky by not being indicted.

First off, you are being willfully ignorant of what is being presented to you as the facts of the incident as everyone knows them. Which is sad.

As for what we know from the DA's and police investigation, it is pretty evident that something went down that night that was VERY shady.

What you have to realize is that proving a rape case is very hard to do. In spite of what you see on tv, DNA is not the be all end all. Especially in a case like this were it is more of a he said she said "date rape" type case.

These cases are hard enough to prove when the defendant has a public defender much less one of the most high priced lawyers in the country.

The fact that she does not want to pursue charges more than anything probably solidifies what happened that night. Most rape victims just want the case to be over and behind them. They do not want to have to deal with the months of questions and scrutiny.

IF she was after money then her best bet would be to have the case tried in a court of law first. Even if Ben was ruled not guilty because of lack of evidence she could easily swing popular opinion in her favor during the process. If she wanted to settle out of court for money she would not have told the DA she didn't want to pursue charges before charges were even brought.

What are you going to say if she never does file a suit against him and just disappears? If that happens that would be the most damning thing for Ben. He better hope she does try to sue him.

I really don't see how Big Ben did anything wrong. I bet you that some ***** just wanted her days of fame by trying to get him in trouble. That said, I understand why the NFL may want to suspend him because of the image that he set for himself towards others.

As far as the trade rumors, its just that, rumors. I don't see Big Ben being traded unless he adds more trouble to the situation. I really don't see him coming here even if the rumors had any truth to it and I had to take a guess at where he would end up then I would have to say the Cardinals due to the fact that his former coaches Wisenhunt and Russ Grimm are there.
