    • A ruptured patellar tendon offers worse odds than an ACL. The fact is, no one knows his potential to return to form. It's certainly too early to know anything, especially from a fan's viewpoint. I hope he returns, but the fact is is that only around 50-55 percent of NFL players across all positions return at all from this injury according to Google AI, and roughly 22 percent of them return to their previous level of play after two years. For O-lineman it's likely even less considering their weight and movement requirements for the job. I truly hope for the best, but we can't count on him returning, much less returning to form. I tell you all this in order to inform you of the seriousness of the situation.
