Slow week bored so "what if..."

Anyways this week is going so freaking slow its painful. Oh yeah its still freaking snowing. (I don't like the snow.) I keep seeing all the talking heads talk us down. I understand why. They were all on our jocks a few years back and we let them down. Now I for one can't wait til they all jump back on the bandwagon after this weekend. Which they probably won't. There will be some excuse. Thats another topic in its own. I thought it would be fun to entertain the idea if the talking heads would have been right this year.

I used to read comics alot and they sometimes had a "what if spin". Taking only the games that the panthers won by 4 or less and converting them into losses we'd be at 9-8. Still that puts us at 1 game over .500

Would there be any "coaching changes" for next season?

Would there be any changes in the front office?

What about player(s) contract extensions or resigings?

*On a side note. i'm very glad things worked out the way they have. I had forgotten that some of the games were so close.

What if there were only 16 games in a season?

....oh, wait....

Ouch, I love my panthers guys. Sorry if you feel it was the wrong time to post something like this. I knew it would be unpopular. But with nothing to talk about that hasen't already been covered I thought it would be fun. To stir the pot a bit. To get some conversation going about how wrong the "talking heads" are. Oh well guess the post was too negative.

Yeah i'll admit it was stupid to say we'd be 9-8. Had to many numbers going through my head it would have been 7-9. 2 games under .500.

    • Eh, hate to say it but I disagree here. A'Shawn trying telling him we can fight after the game shows where his head was at, and it wasn't in football. And if Ekwonu can get any tips from Dawkins who is a 4x Pro Bowler I'm all for it. Oh well, we live to fight another week. Would love if we're the ones frustrating the Packers with a blowout this time.
    • Dowdle would probably be leading rusher or close to it had he been the lead back all season most of those guys in front have more volume of carries. Makes you wonder how his talent didn't flash in practice seeing how little use he got in the early part of the season.  It's not like it came out of nowhere he rushed for a 1000 yards last season even though just like here he started as backup and didn't get significant carries until the 2nd half of the season, Cowboys were playing an ineffective Zeke in front of him. Not sure why Jerry didnt try to resign him, but they paid for that in the game against us. Canales seemed determined to repeat the same mistake as Dallas, hopefully he's gotten out of his own way.  This team has lacked identity the past few seasons, especially have been missing that fire starter on offense like he had with Cam, Jonathan Stewart, Steve Smith's of the world. He had that briefly for 2 games hopefully the 2nd half of the season we can get back to that brand of football where teams know what we're doing but can't stop it.
    • I've already paid my next year's mortgage taking overs on Hornets games.  They are the Dallas Cowboys of the NBA.  Whatever the number is, just slam the over.
