Imagine being a Panther fan while talking sh!t about a team who has lost fewer games this season than the Panthers have won in the past 2 seasons.

Hey man we are just saying like it is. We were lucky to win Dallas and the rags. We played bad vs the devils and Columbus.  That’s 6 games being an absolute turnover fest.  It’s now become a trend and a problem. Couple that with Martin, we don’t have a high margin.  2-3-1 on our last 6 games.  I’ll say that again. 2-3-1.  The rags and stars win masks what really has been a pretty big slump lately. We aren’t playing well.   That’s not good my friend.

I didn't expect the Canes to win any of the last week's games with Martin in net.

But, the Canes played 15 games in the 30 days of November, including 3 back-to-backs in the last 2 weeks.

Couple the schedule with the fact the team is not playing Canes hockey with a turnstile in net behind them. I'm sorry, I don't care what lineup is on the ice, every player on this roster knows they have to work overtime to help the goalie. If you don't think it's in the back of each player's mind, you're wrong.

I think we are saying the same thing. It’s a domino effect. Bad goalie doesn’t mask the horrible turnovers.  They are all pressing.

however, if the we would have moved on from Freddie in the off-season, we wouldn’t be getting in this situation.

He said this team SUCKS which isn't the case....

The season is 82 games long..  valleys in play are inevitable.

I'm kinda shocked to see you posting during the regular seasons tbh not shocked to see its you pooing on the team though.

It takes more out of the guys to try and cover for a poo goalie leading to more mental lapses and poo turnovers.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
