Since the schedule is being released today I figured I would start up one of these topics.

HOME

Atlanta W

New Orleans W

Tampa Bay W

San Francisco W

Arizona W

Baltimore L

Cincinnati W

Chicago W

AWAY

Atlanta W

New Orleans L

Tampa Bay L

Seattle W

St. Louis W

Cleveland W

Pittsburgh W

New York Giants W

So I'm going with 13-3. This is assuming that

we find a solid #2 WR

Jarrett steps up

our DT's are as good as Fox & Co. say

Matt Moore is the real deal

and we adequately replace peppers.

Lets revisit this in June after the draft and most of free agency signing period are over. We do most of our acquisitions between now and the opening game. We could look very different by then.

If we had to play with what we currently have, it would be Fox's first time winning less than 7 games since he became head coach.

Yep, too early for me too. I usually hold off on making predictions until after training camp is done.

Exactly... and the same applies to other teams too. The NFC South could dramatically change in the next 4 months.

Those are a lot of assumptions. I think a few may work out as you've described, but probably not all of them.

I see 10-6. Either win the division, or grab the wildcard.

the fun thing about the offseason is you can be wildly optimistic. I had to tone it down a little from my former prediction of 19-0.

This.

I say 8-8 at best right now.

Speaking of predictions I had a terrible dream last night and I hope it's not an omen. Basically I had a dream that Thomas Davis was back to pro-bowl form but he got hurt again. I forget which team it wast against but I was pretty devastated about it. Someone help me, how do I keep this from coming true? I need some good luck charms. Hopefully I won't be assassinated by a fellow huddler if something does happen(god forbid).

    • I said the conservative play calling was because Canales doesn't think we can win shootouts. Yes, I did say part of that was because of the young, inexperienced receivers and that the OL is better suited for run blocking. I should have also included Young as part of the reason as well but I was responding to the post concerning "young receivers" and Thielens' absence. I am not so enamored with Young that I think all his problems are simply because of the receivers. I do think they overpaid for him and he has not lived up to the cost. He has had his struggles, as does pretty much every rookie qb thrown into a bad situation. But I have seen enough good things to have hope that he continues to get better. The OP is just pointing out how his performance late in the games when the game is on the line is one of those good things.
    • I think it goes both ways  It could be they are used to pocket passers, not someone who constantly has to create throwing zones for himself with pocket movement  point being, whether it is Young or the receivers or the sun or the moon or the wind, can’t win in the nfl without the threat of a downfield attack
