Im finally a daddy..

my little girl was born last Friday night. Starting my family later in life than most. I always had some apprehension about starting so late and whether or not it was something i needed to do. I always knew id be a good father, but just wasnt sure if i needed to.

Any doubts i ever had are gone. Still scared to death. And im already over protective which ive got to work on..and she already gave us a scare at the hospital (doing fine now).

This is quite an experience i must say. Hard to describe the feelings...but i guess you parents already know what im talkin about.

By the way, she's laying here next to me in a bassinet watching Mike and Mike with me.

Thats awesome, Teh Saint. I know no better a feeling than that that I get from my kids..Now all you need to do is get her a little Panthers jersey and raise that girl right!

Congrats, man -- that's awesome.

From my few dealings with my nephews, I sometimes fear I'll be an overprotective parent as well. It's funny, because that runs contrary to the way I think children should be raised as a whole. Guess it's different when it's your kid.

my daughter is about 7 1/2 months. The last three or four months have been f*cking hilarious.

Personality really starts to come out lots of laughing, grabbing, falling etc.

and you start to understand just why as a dad you are totally screwed.
