Mike Florio thinks we had the WORST draft in the NFL

Dumbass....

Browns the best for having Colt fall into their laps.

We were the losers because we had Clausen fall into our lap.

Not to mention that he liked the Broncos for taking The Golden Calf of Bristol....what a joke.

Colt played in a spread offense and is not NFL ready....Clausen played in a pro-style offense and is NFL ready.

Ridiculous.

I don't get where all of a sudden everyone hates Jimmy Clausen? I mean the guy was rated by both ESPN analysts as a draft pick that SHOULD HAVE gone no later than the Buffalo Bills. We got him at #48. If he had gone in the top 10 people would be singing that team's praises. Because he dropped because of "leadership concerns" (which is BS IMO) people want to be the first to say that he is going to suck.

All of the haters need to remember that we have the best OL and running game in the entire league. That does wonders for young QBs...See Mark Sanchez, Matt Ryan, and Joe Flacco in their first years.

And the Broncos are being praised for giving up a bunch of picks for a QB......that can't throw.

Priceless.

Not to mention Ben "I love 'em young" Rothlesberger

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
