2011 Prospects: CB's

I think CB will be a Need next year...IF...Marshall wants out/isn't back. however, if he does leave, Captain will be #2, then I can see us draft someone like Chykie Brown from Texas in the 3rd round. Chykie is 6'0, 187 lbs, and runs a low 4.4 40. But in the 1st round, I could see us going DT...(I just don't have faith in Leonard, Tyler, Johnson, and Irvin). I really want Adrian Clayborn, who plays DE and DT for Iowa. he would fit in peerfect with Meeks' scheme. Another guy I would love to get is Jared Crick, DT from Nebraska. Suh raved about how good Crick was. here are his 09 stats compared to Suh's 09 stats.

Crick-70 total tkl

Suh-82

Crick-28 solo

Suh-47

Crick-42 assisted

Suh-35

Crick-9 sacks

Suh-12

If we could somehow get some compensation for Marshall I would like us to see our first pick as a corner or D-end. While I love Gamble, he is an above average corner, not elite. I would like to see us get an elite corner in the first round. I like the guy from LSU, but then again I though Laron Landry was the next coming and he hasn't panned out.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
