I just got my new game informer today and im wondering if anybody else has it.

It had 2 pgs on the new Madden which looks to be amazing. I concern for me being the Panthers (which i will still always be) is that Peppers is gone. I used to be able to get in on every play and are new young guys will prob suck on the game. If anybody likes video games, plays Madden, and is the Panthers should understand my point of view and where i am coming from.

P.S. If double trouble is as good in the game as they are in real life, then i will dominate and win every game 56-48

I just hope they did a MAJOR overhaul on the Franchise mode. Without a doubt a massive failure on the next GEN consoles. I still have to play on PS2 because of how much more I like its Franchise mode compared to 360's and I still think it sucks.

I have an idea how bout put Head Coach 09 as Maddens franchise mode with a few minor tweaks. How hard could that be?

The PS2 version even had a newspaper/radio show for franchise mode and the next gen versions have yet to add anything similar aside from a poor mans NFL Network clone that gets repetitive and is frankly not that impressive after the first few times you watch it.

Good call. Head coach is kind of a joke. But included as maddens franchise? Teh awesome! I don't even feel the draft day excitement anymore. I used to scout guys and make trades and spend hours on drafting. Now I pick 1-3 and sim the rest. :(

I actually really liked Head Coach. If I could have played the games it would have been awesome.

I hope I can cheat in the franchise by looking up the Head Coach lists in Madden 11.

Also, is it THAT easy for you guys to get to the QB? It's usually pretty hard unless I blitz a corner or get the QB standing in the pocket for 5 seconds (great coverage - usually only rushing 2 guys).

And let's just hope they do well this year during the season (the Panthers) so that way they will keep making our players better and better with the roster updates. :)

Same here...I even have some seasons where my DT end up having more sacks than my DE..

I hope madden will make some more in depth playbooks for the 4-3 defense and some how create a difference between 3-4 and 4-3 players.

they updated the ballcarrying...they have the normal left and right jukes with the right analog stick...moving the right analog stick back and forth is stutter step...moving it down is to leap overing a diving tackler....and up is the normal truck stick which u can now aim left and right to protect the ball carrier from fumbling...also there is a new mode for play calling...Game Flow, it allows u to rate plays 1-5 stars for certain situations...say it is 3 and 1 and you have WR Screen 5 starred and Hail Mary 1 starred...wr screen would be one of your top priorities along with other high-rated plays for that situation...u can also turn this off if ud like

      What specific LT at 19 are all of the OT Stan’s wanting? Be specific. All have issues and are not guaranteed to improve the OL.. The chances of one of these LT’s who are projected at 19 (Proctor, Lomu) being a bust is much higher than a guy like Lemon/Concepcion imo. Do you really want to draft a kid who has weight struggles along with lateral movement issues? And the other who was a shitty run blocker vs Big 12 competition? Morgan and Co. want to see how Rasheed Walker plays.. They also want to see how Icky’s rehab goes.. There’s a lot of  “wait and see at OT”  We don’t have the luxury for our 1st round pick being a backup. We lack top end talent. Morgan and the others have made it known they want to win now. For that reason, I’m almost positive we punt on OT in the first this year and worry about it next year in the first round if need be.    Thieneman would be ideal. He’s a natural “center field” safety with great coverage skills. For the posters who want trade up for Downs…Do you realize he struggles in coverage? He’s more of a box safety. We already have two of those players.. I wouldn’t mind trading in front of the Vikings for the Thieneman though.. Next need would be DT, but I don’t see the value there at 19.. Same with edge. WR at #19 is very realistic. Who would improve this team more than Lemon/Concepcion? You could argue a slot CB, but the value isn’t great there either. People tend to forget the Seattle Seahawks game.. Yes BY sucked, but no one was getting open.. We could use a quick savvy route runner to beat man coverage. TMAC and Coker are great, but consistently creating separation vs Man Coverage is not their strength.
