That's what they do. Every Madden is basically a beta for next years Madden.

With Backbreaker though, they give football fans that are gamers... a football game that has real psychics based football. Yes, the character models need work and the animations need improvement, but this is their first game. If people buy this game, they will make more games. And hopefully when the exclusive license expires, the Backbreaker crew will get a deal.

If Maddens graphics and player shape/sizes/faces where applied to there Euphoria engine OMG! And HC franchise mode. I would never play another game.

I saw the EA blog on the new run blocking mechanics. If they are as good as advertised than Double trouble will be insane in this years madden. I hope they improve the pass blocking animation as well.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking - DT gonna be sick with the new blocking AI.

I would have agreed with you up until Madden 10, they're done with stupid gimmicks and they're totally overhauling the game engine to make it much more realistic.

Josh Looman, who handled the HC game, took over Madden last year. I was hoping he would incorporate some of its features into Madden but they focused on Gameplay I just hope they worked on Franchise more in this game.

I stopped at 09'. They've changed it because so many people boycotted. They pretty much had to if they wanted to keep their fanbase. I hate lazy fuggin' developers.

I hope I can cheat in the franchise by looking up the Head Coach lists in Madden 11.

Also, is it THAT easy for you guys to get to the QB? It's usually pretty hard unless I blitz a corner or get the QB standing in the pocket for 5 seconds (great coverage - usually only rushing 2 guys).

And let's just hope they do well this year during the season (the Panthers) so that way they will keep making our players better and better with the roster updates. :)

53 sacks in 1 season with merriman at the Left end spot on my franchise using detroit ..

its as simple as hitting the hit stick to the right or left and sprinting to the QB and if you think you wont get there just dive and it glitches to a trip tackle .. terrible

I hate EA sports now. I really really wish they didn't have the NFL rights. They sell you regenerated crap and expect you to pay like they actually did something. I laughed when I saw they are gonna start charging people $10 to get online now. I mean whats next an extra charge to have a user manual.

PSN is most likely gonna start charging people in November for their sh!tty online service. So...look for it to get sh!ttier.

      What specific LT at 19 are all of the OT Stan’s wanting? Be specific. All have issues and are not guaranteed to improve the OL.. The chances of one of these LT’s who are projected at 19 (Proctor, Lomu) being a bust is much higher than a guy like Lemon/Concepcion imo. Do you really want to draft a kid who has weight struggles along with lateral movement issues? And the other who was a shitty run blocker vs Big 12 competition? Morgan and Co. want to see how Rasheed Walker plays.. They also want to see how Icky’s rehab goes.. There’s a lot of  “wait and see at OT”  We don’t have the luxury for our 1st round pick being a backup. We lack top end talent. Morgan and the others have made it known they want to win now. For that reason, I’m almost positive we punt on OT in the first this year and worry about it next year in the first round if need be.    Thieneman would be ideal. He’s a natural “center field” safety with great coverage skills. For the posters who want trade up for Downs…Do you realize he struggles in coverage? He’s more of a box safety. We already have two of those players.. I wouldn’t mind trading in front of the Vikings for the Thieneman though.. Next need would be DT, but I don’t see the value there at 19.. Same with edge. WR at #19 is very realistic. Who would improve this team more than Lemon/Concepcion? You could argue a slot CB, but the value isn’t great there either. People tend to forget the Seattle Seahawks game.. Yes BY sucked, but no one was getting open.. We could use a quick savvy route runner to beat man coverage. TMAC and Coker are great, but consistently creating separation vs Man Coverage is not their strength.
