Great movie. Viggo is really a awesome actor. The director, John Hillcoat I believe, is amazing. He also directed "The Proposition" a Aussie western with Guy Peirce, definitely check it out, it was one of the influences of the creators of Red Dead Redemption.

Watched it Friday night with my son. Disturbing at times and a bit depressing as stated but could have been worse if it ended differently. I could defintely see how the book would have been a great read.

Probably my favorite book I've ever read. So well written. Cormac McCarthy's somber mood he sets throughout the book is so good I really actually felt for a character of a book for once. Possibly the most important, and maybe best, novel of the last 25 years.
