Alabama, Florida, Texas, LSU, you name it - any of the big time programs are guilty of the same thing USC is.

every school does it. from usc to sc state.but hell, these guys make that school rich and dont see nearly as much as the schools does.

Just read the name of this thread didn't even look at it earlier....you really should change the name of it since the entire 67 page report never brought up USC handing Reggie any benefits.... also there is nothing illegal about someone buying stuff for another person its's just improper as far as the NCAA student athlete scholarship guidelines are concerned....a better title may be Do you think Reggie Bush is lying about not receiving improper benefits while at USC?

is the sky blue?

however to think this doesn't go on at other colleges is dumb. like steroids in professional sports there is always a someone who gets busted and the league comes down on them hard, but in reality countless other people do it too.

And alot don't either. To try to justify their behavior by saying other people do it too reminds of the arguments kids use in third grade when they justify their behavior by saying that Johnny gets to stay up to 3 AM so it is okay for me to do it too. Just like your momma said" If Johnny jumps off a bridge and breaks a leg does that mean it is fine for you to do it too?? Or maybe you are of the school that as long as you don't get caught, then everything is fine.

when did I say it was okay? I said a lot of people do it, so people need to quit acting like USC is evil and the only one breaking the rules.

I'm of the school that you don't levy unprecedented penalties without concrete evidence, it wouldn't fly in a court of law so why is it allowed to fly for the NCAA.....I admit the Universities compliance dept. dropped the ball big time but punish them accordingly with the evidence you have.....
