HBs

Chris Johnson (TEN) – 99

Adrian Peterson (MIN) – 98

Maurice Jones-Drew (JAX) – 96

Steven Jackson (STL) – 95

Frank Gore (SF) – 93

DeAngelo Williams (CAR) – 92

Ray Rice (BAL) – 90

Michael Turner (ATL) – 90

Ronnie Brown (MIA) – 89

Cedric Benson (CIN) – 89

Anyone wanna explain to me how the hell Cedric Benson and Ronnie Brown are better then J-Stew? and why steven jackson is so high?

I'd probably sadly have to agree...he's just outside the top 10.

I have a problem seeing him beat out by Benson...but that's about it. Benson was on a crappy team and still did relatively well last year. If Stewart has a injury-free season and puts up 1000 yds again...that will probably change when Madden updates mid season.

Remember...Madden isn't accounting for team Oline strengths or offenses. Just their individual talent. If you took Steven Jackson and put him behind the Panthers O-line...how do you think he'd do. And I'm not saying DeAngelo is NOT better than Steven Jackson. Personally I see DW around 4th...just beating out Gore and Jackson, but I'd also put Rice right up there with him. Just my personal opinion and in no way defending Madden, but just trying to give perspective.

That's a shame. I am sure Stew is very upset that a video game doesn't have him ranked in the top 10. Even though most of those guys are more proven and featured backs. R Brown is a proven back, injuries are his downfall. Benson carried the Bengals offense to the playoffs.

You know they made the playoffs and won their division right?

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
