DT Question ?

Like Jon Beason said once upon a time. He needs a big body up front so that he can rome free in the back field. Like 6'4" 345, a mammoth. Why have we not addressed this over the last couple of seasons ? Is there still someone out there that we could sign before trainging camp. So that Beason can do his Job well.

He needs the DT's to keep him "clean" so he does not get blocked by offensive lineman and can make a play - doesn't necessarily have to be mamouth DT's, just DT's that can get the job done.

Where have you been living? Under a rock??? Kemo is that big and has been our nose tackle for the past several years. When he got hurt last year, Hollis Thomas came in and is that big. This year- Leonard Louis will be the nose tackle. He is 6-4 and listed at 325. Plenty big to do the job. By the way Beason may be moved to Will so that isn't a concern. In the 4-3 under/over he will have both the DT and DE on his side to protect him.

yeah, leonard is that big guy in the middle and tank isn't a midget himself.

leonard's break was a freak accident and shouldn't happen again. i'm anxious to see what he can do this year for us.

Seemed to me we had several of those last year. Lets hope we got them all out of the way.
