Panthers tailgating

There isnt much tailgating in Charlotte. Most of the fans around here like to wine and dine before the games.

All stadiums have good and bad spots. You must of never been to a good spot or never at all.

The Texans have the best tailgates in the NFL???

Yeah, ranked number one by the NFL but I would trade that ranking in anyday for some home playoff games/wins. Our stadium will need to be disinfected twice this year since we have the Cowboys in preseason and regular season. I'll make sure I take my video camera for those games because I think I'll have some good Youtube clips with all the fighting that will be going on..lol PantherBob must be a crowd favorite on these boards.

Gman don't confuse the fact that you have no friends who are willing to be seen with you in public with the actual gameday atmosphere in Charlotte.

Dont worry I wont. I guess I had it confused with all the empty parking lots all around down town. Lets face it, downtown charlotte is pretty much a ghost town on game day except for all those people leaving the fancy resturants to walk to the stadium.

You're right Gman, the tailgating that you do by yourself in your mom's basement with the Cheetos, Funnyuns, and Code Red is whining and dining.

poo, I didnt know they still made Funnyuns. Im definitely going to ask my mom to buy those. Thanks x clown. I guess you're not as useless as I originally thought

Pringles has popcorn flavored chips now.

I guess hitting the downtown restaurants might not be a bad idea either. Charlotte is set up different than Houston though. Y'all have a downtown stadium and we don't. People here do hit the downtown restaurants for the Astros and Rockets games because those stadiums are downtown. Well give me a cool restaurant to hit before a Panthers game.

    • Brandt's comment about Wharton was from his KC perspective when Wharton was a UDFA rookie.   "it goes back to the anecdote that Brandt Tillis had when he was in Kansas City. And it would be so easy to just cut Turk Wharton in 2020 when he was an undrafted rookie from a division two college in Missouri. It would been so easy to cut him because then he would have cleared waivers easily. No one knew this guy. They didn't have any joint practices, didn't have a preseason. Would have been so easy to cut him and bring him back on the practice squad and let him continue to build from there. And Brandt essentially said, "No, he's got to make the 53man roster if we're going to have any sort sense of credibility with this team."
    • Plenty of us were scratching our heads about that signing at the time. Especially with our 3-4 defense. Wharton is kind of a one trick pony situational five tech DT. He doesn't have the beef to hold up against the run and he doesn't have the juice to shift outside. He's basically a situational pass rusher DT. If we paid him $40M+ and he can't start for a historically inept defense then holy poo...
    • Agreed.  300 and 2 or 3 total in Jacksonville in a winning effort would sure be a nice start.
