I don't know Deon Sanders was a hell of an athlete in his time. He also played teh foosball and teh baseballs. He even went out for the Hawks at one time. From what I understood he made the team but it conflicted with everything else he had going on. Now in all fairness my obese Aunt Bob could have made the early to mid 90's Hawk squad.

Had he not screwed up his hip, hard telling how far he would have gone.

But if you look back there have been many 2 & 3 sport players over history.

These come to my mind:

Chuck Connors: (TV's The Rifleman! Played for the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Dodgers & Chicago Cubs, though not at the same time. He was even invited to join the Chicago Bears, but declined.)

Dave Debusschere: He played pro basketball for the Detroit Pistons & New York Knicks. He also picthed a few season for the Detriot Tigers.

Of course the best person to ever play sports was Jim Thorpe! Won Olympic medals, played pro football, basketball and baseball. Jim Thorpe would have owned Bo! (Of course, so did Nolan Ryan!) If you ever want to read an autobiography, read about Jim Thorpe.

Deion was a great football player, but an average baseball player. Bo excelled at both sports.
