15 Signs You'll Cheat

I could have written this story! DOH!

1. If you're a man, you're about 7 percent more likely to be unfaithful to your partner than a woman is.

(That's a no brainer!)

2. If you live in a large city, you're 39 percent more likely to have an affair than those who live in small towns and rural areas.

(Small town, everyone knows everyone's business!)

3. If you earn $75,000 or more per year, you're over 150 percent more likely to have an affair than those who earn $30,000 per year or less.

(You earn less than $30K you can't aford to cheat of hire a divorce attorney.)

4. If your husband spends 10 percent or less of his time with you, then there's at least a 10 percent chance you'll cheat on him.

(#1 reason women have affairs, is lack of affection/time)

5. If you think about sex every day, you're 22 percent more likely to have an affair than those who think about sex just a few times a week.

(This isn't the reason men cheat.)

6. If you and your spouse lived together before getting married, there's a 39 percent chance that at least one of you will cheat on the other.

(I never cheated, but then again, I never got married.)

7. If your identical twin has had an affair, you're 200 percent more likely to have an affair yourself than if your twin had not.

(I have nothing to compare this too.)

8. If you're African-American, you're a little more than twice as likely than men of other ethnic backgrounds to have an affair.

(I would make a comment here, but I"m afraid it would come off as poor taste.)

10. If you have an advanced college degree, you're 175 percent more likely to have extramarital sex than those who did not finish high school.

(I have to believe that this goes back to economics.)

12. If you were married at age 16 or younger, you're almost 400 percent more likely to engage in extramarital sex than those who were married for the first time at 23.

(There's something to be said about sowing your wild oats, or curious as to the greener grass.)

13. If you're an unhappy man, you're 13 percent more likely to have an affair than happy men are.

(I learned a long time ago, that only you are responsible for your own happiness of sadness.)

14. If you have made use of online porn, you are 300 percent more likely to have an affair than someone who has never looked at online porn.

(I'm in trouble! Though when I am in a realtionship, my Porn viewership drops to zero.)

15. If you enjoy spending time with your partner's relatives, you're 24 percent less likely to engage in extramarital sex than those who dislike spending time with their in-laws.

(What if you liked her relatives better than you did your ex-fiancee?)

ruh roh...I've got most of those, too...

Good thing I'm fugly and I've already found the one woman who would ever be willing to sleep with me.

My Fiancée at the time, caught me on the computer looking at porn. (I know, big shock!) She decided the best way to teach me a lesson was to withhold sex. (Not that she was putting out all that much anyway.) I would have been real easy for me to cheat on her. Instead, I got her family to do an intervention and get her moved out of my house and life!

Say what you want to about Louis Farrakhan, (no comment) one thing he "preaches" is that African-American men need to step up to the plate when it comes to family responsibilities. (Too bad Rea Carruth didn't listen.)

People cheat to fill voids. If everyone could just be blunt about what they want and no one would get offended then prob 80% of cheating would go down. Still thats not the way it is and women are vengeful creatures that have fragile egos so that cant happen.

    • Serious question:  Why LG and not RG?  There may be something I do not know, but Hunt's contract is huge and he could be let go after this season (post june 1 cut) and it would save the Panthers a ton of money.  Extending him would be paying a G who is in his mid 30s guaranteed money (and I do not see that as a terrible thing).  So if we release him at age 31, we save $19m.  I like him, but at 31, will he be worth the mega contract?   LG Damien Lewis has actually outperformed Hunt and he is a year younger.  He would also save less vs. the cap and leave less in the dead cap pool.  While his current contract expires after the 2027 season, he is a better prospect (IMO) to extend because only 50% of his current contract was guaranteed.  Here are his contract numbers.   Now, getting to Ickey--he could want LT money if he is offered a second contract.  If we pay him LT money to play either G positions, we are likely overpaying.  Secondly, the injury he suffered could be one that limits his productivity.  Ickey was improving, but he was an average LT.  The only way I re-sign Ickey is to have him accept a G contract and make a lot of it incentive based.     I feel like I am missing something, but in my mind, Ickey was always a guard if you consider the fact that he is an average OT and would be a great G.  Is that still the case (injury)?
    • Supplemental draft uses picks from next year. So a team were to draft him in the 1st, their upcoming 1st next draft would no longer be available. There have been some notable players that were obtained in the supplemental draft, such as Kosar. It doesn't necessarily happen every year either, and is more on a as needed basis. The gambling trouble is a big red flag for teams, and maybe pushes him down to a 4th? Not sure a team would use a 1st on him.
