Of course. I'm just busting balls. He will need development at the next level and would be a backup at NT until he proved he's more than just a space eater. More than likely he would spend his 1st season on the practice squad if he cannot unseat Roy.

Roy hasn't been on the team since 2022.

He was a beast in practice but during the game he didn't stand out.

No, he actually wasn't that impressive in the one on ones during the week. Hence why some soured a bit on him. Plus he did not do well at the combine either.

He is more of a project than I expected.

Sounds like he'd fit right in.

To be fair though he didn't get to play a lot in the game because they were rotating the players so all of them get some playing time. None of the DL on both teams got the opportunity to play very much. So there's that.

I saw him beating double teams in the drills. They even triple teamed him in one pass rushing drill.

I think the reviews were generally mixed.

I still like him personally.

He's definitely a scheme specific type player. I hadn't heard of him until I spotted him at the senior bowl practice.  I kept seeing this big guy with Walker on the back of his jersey throwing oline players left and right. Put a couple of them in their asses. He definitely looked like an nfl player going against college guys.

I have actually watched him at UK the past couple of years. He can be a pocket collapsing guy at times. Massive, massive human being.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
