J-Stew back to 100% (That's Scary)

Recommended Posts

I just want him to light up the Giants in their new home just like he disintegrated them in their old one.

:iagree: The difference this time around will be a healthy DeAngelo Williams, who pummeled the Giants run D for 4 touchdowns the prior season (2008-9).

Of course, the Giants did the same to our run D in that game (an OT loss), but you get the point.:D

A lot of our Run D had to do with Kemo going down very late in the game. There were still running well on us but when kemo went down it turned into a ass whoopin.

You guys shouldn't worry about the Panthers one bit on any side of the ball, including STs. Really, just don't even worry. Everyone on the Offense is healthy and the only ? is which one of our young WRs is gonna light up the stage, cause one of them is gonna have a really good year. On the Defense, I doubt it will be as productive as last year, but it will still be in the top 5 in Pass Defense, not to mention that despite reports to the contrary, the LBs will be just as beastly as last year, if not more now that a worth-a-poo LB is playing the Strong Side. The D-Line will not be as good as last year at pass rushing. To think otherwise is simply ignorant. However, it will not be as dismal as all of the analysts are saying. The Defense will be good, as usual. STs will be really good compared to last year. Expect good returns and good kicks, not to mention MUCH better coverage and blocking.

I'm expecting 10 wins and a wild card out of the Panthers this year.

I'm expecting the pass rush to be better. We won't have a dominate force like Peppers for teams to game plan for but we'll have more talent by numbers. It won't be just one guy coming after the QB. Brown will be stronger, Johnson will be a good rusher on his side, then we've got Norwood and Hardy to fill in.

I hope Fox doesn't keep abandoning the run when it's working AND he let's the O score and not sit on a 7 point lead.

LOL I will believe that when I see it. Even last year when faced with being fired he still was a stubborn as ever. If we get up by 14 point he will pull the plug on the offense.

Scary for opposing teams, it's amazing that a guy can put up those kinda numbers at 85%, but now that he is at 100% defenses better take notice.

NFL.com's Mike Lombardi reports that Jonathan Stewart (Achilles surgery) is back to 100 percent.

As the Panthers planned, Stewart sat out all of OTAs while nursing the heel injury he's played through for the past two years, not including his final season at Oregon. Still among the league's most dangerous backs, Stewart averaged 5.1 yards per carry in 2009 and has scored 21 all-purpose TDs since '08. It's scary to think how good he'll be with the foot problems behind him.

Great news! Go Stewart! Go Panthers!
