ya know I have a problem with almost everybody on that list. Well, more so their being mentioned on there. I think thats mainly because of who their backups are. I dont think that you can truly say any player deserves to be benched until training camp at the very earliest. This is just another bull poo list. Yet still I feel the need to comment :shocked:

Jake: Sure he had a rough past couple of years but I still honestly believe that he is a better choice than Colt McCoy or Seneca Wallace.

Garrard: Again, who would you start ahead of him? I still feel that his struggles have resulted more from a lack of receivers rather than him just sucking.

Orton: I guess Florio is a The Golden Calf of Bristol fan? Thats the only reason I can think of benching a quality game manager for an unproven rookie with awkward mechanics and who's greatest quality is his "leadership." Will he struggle this year? More than likely, but without Marshall I feel thats expected.

Moore: No comment. Florio dissing poo on the Panthers. Not even worth my time. I guess the second highest passer rating of any QB over the last 5 games of the season and a dismantling of 2 good teams just isn't enough to warrant being a starter anymore....

Lienart: I don't like him, not one bit. But after being behind Warner for 3 years I feel he deserves his shot. Of course, I'm sure if Derek Anderson were named the starter Florio would feel he needed to be benched too....

what does it say? I don't click on Florio articles anymore. not going to give him any traffic.

For the part relating to Moore and the Panthers, he basically is saying that Clausen should start (claims that he is prepared to come right in and take the job) since Fox drafted him to show the front office that he is the quarterback of our future or something so he can keep his job. I can picture him saying hurf lurf durf as he typed out that idiotic rationale.

I think it's funny that everyone hates Florio but keeps posting about him. If I hate someone I do not speak to them or care/look at what they say.

Exactly....he writes poo...we click on his website...we get pissed...he gets paid.

Florio's good at breaking news, the problem is that when news is slow he starts writing opinion pieces like this one (and the one that alleges 89 calling Clausen a punk) that come across as uninformed and shows that he did little to no research on his end.

Actually other than cap and CBA stuff, I find him utterly useless now that I've got my Twitter feed built out with good sources.
