Hayden and Goodson latest casualities...

Seems like a couple guys go down everyday...luckily none have been terribly serious but it would be nice to make it through a few practices unscathed.

With that said I'm really looking forward to fan fest...I'm hoping lafell is good to go by then. Should be a lot of fun.

Wonder if it's as bad for the rest of the league...

I used to ask the same question, because I was having some real doubts about our training crew and methods. I later got some great insight from one of the staff who told me some teams train in more moderate climates, but pay later. Truth is the heat will kill most fit fans on the sidelines...Hf 105 to 110 degrees in the 3pm slot. Plus, as stated numerous times...these guys have not been getting the regimin like they are now.

I get more freaked when I hear a familiar crack or snap, but muscle cramps and exhaustion just does it.

Eagles have DeShaun out with a back issue and the boards are asking WTH is it with training staff! Nuff said?

I was at practice today when both these guys went down and Goodson's injury may be serious, he tried three times to get up and could not - then they took him away on cart after examing his lower left leg for several minutes...

Hayden was down for a while as well, but eventually he was up and walking around. Hayden's injury appeared to involve the lower back.

    • Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?
    • Goings was good too.
    • I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
