13 Beers in 13 Miles

Several of you told me that I was “going to die” if I drank 13 beers while running the San Francisco Half Marathon. I did not die.

I puked three times, blacked out for miles 11 and 12, and needed five hours to finish. This is my story.

I'm not a big fan of running, so I agree with Husker that it sounds pretty hellish.

Have you guys heard of the Charlotte Hash House Harriers? They describe themsleves as "a drinking club with a running problem."

They drink after running though.

I play Lord of the Rings Online and they have these festivals for the different seasons and such.

One of the draws is something called the Inn League, and it's initiation is that you have to get to each of the pubs in the Shire and drink x number of beers there. As you drink, the screen gets all blurry looking and the movement keys don't work exactly right. It gets worse and worse the further you go, pretty funny.
