To get an idea of Smitty's potential greatness..Moose is 16th all time in career receptions with 860 in front of guys like Shannon Sharpe, Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Ervin, Andre Rison, Larry Centers, Steve Largent, etc. Moose is also in the top 20 WR's all time in receiving yards. We can all agree, as much as we loved Moose, Smitty is the superior player. Ik this doesn't have much to do with the thread. But, to mention Jerry Rice for the integrity of this thread...he did have TWO, legend qb's throwing the pigskin to him. Give smitty those guys...and hte sky is the limit.

I'm sure the OP was referring to Rice's work ethic, and I completely agree. The guy worked his ass off for everything he achieved. I remember Young saying Rice was the only person on the field training...the day after they won the superbowl.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
