Ever had your parents walk in....

That reminds me of a joke, 88...

When I was young and my dad gave me the sex talk, I asked him the best way to go about the motions of getting it on with a girl...

He told me to tape a nickel to each hip, a quarter to the small of my back, and a dollar just above my cock... Then remember the pattern "Nickel, Nickel, Quarter, Dollar" and use that as a guide to move my hips side to side then back and forward...

When the time came, after almost a month of practice, I started getting into it with this chick... After a few moments, it felt so good and I got tired of the old "Nickel, Nickel, Quarter, Dollar" repeating in my head...

...so I caved in and threw all technique out the window and vigorously pounded out...

"Buck thirty five... Buck thirty five... Buck thirty five!"

My mom was totally cool about that when I was in high school. She bought me condoms (yes, it was awkward the first time) and when I had a girl over she never bothered us if the door was locked.

I wish. This reminds me of something though.

I got my first "brain session" (yes, this girl actually referred to it as such...) in my room, door wide open, at 4 PM. It was cool. Few minutes in, think I hear footsteps, so I just lean towards the door, shut it, and lock it. Once we were done, she chilled for a few, then left. My mom came in and asked "have fun?" There's no way she saw...she just knew. Too obvious. Still, good times.

I had her Mom walking on us!

My Father was always in meetings, so my Mom told me about the birds and bees! (That's awkward! Of course she placed a high value on the woman's enjoyment! Probably why to this day, I place my woman's needs first over mine. Most of the time.)

Then, years later, I had a GF and we went to her Mom's and Step Father's home for Thanksgiving. My GF was into just about anything that would humiliate her. (She had severe self-esteem issues!) I was going to take the family out for Dinner that Wednesday evening, I didn't want to make her Mom cook 2 big meals. We proceeded to get out luggage and unpack, I asked her for a BJ! Which she readily agreed to. Anyway, I'm almost finished, when her Mom walks in on us to see if we were ready to go to dinner! She watched as her Daughter finished me off! :D

It was the talk of Thanksgiving!

Here's a story for you.

3 days after I got my license I took my mom's car (I had a Pontiac Firebird, mom was driving the Explorer that I have now) out at 3a.m., drove to my girlfriend's house and picked her up to do a little hanky panky. 4a.m. comes around and her phones goes off. It's her dad's ringtone. This dummy had set her alarm clock in her room and it went off at 4 like it normally did, parents walk in because it's not shutting off and then realize that she's not in her room.

She's throws her clothes on, jumps outta my mom's car which was parked down the street from her house and runs into her house.

I sat in my car long enough to see her dad get in his car and drive around the neighborhood a few times. Thank God I was in my mom's car and he didn't realize it. He was obviously looking for me.

Fast forward to the next evening, we get home and there's a message on the answering machine. Mom plays it and it says "Hi Julie, this is Tanya... Shaun and I have something we'd like you talk to you about so if you can, just give us a call back. Thanks!"

Mom goes "What is that all about?" and of course I play dumb. So she calls and finds out what happened. My mom is so nonchalant about it and says "Well, ya know, Tanya, they're 16. Don't you remember what we were doing at that age?" For the record, girlfriend's mom was pregnant with her at 18.

Girlfriend winds up getting grounded for a month and nothing happened to me.

My mom rocks. Her philosophy growing up was all she can do is lead us in the right direction and put us in a position to decide what's right and what's wrong. The rest is up to us.

Now, dad, on the other hand.....

My parents never came home before 4pm, so I took my girlfriend up to my room around 2. After we finished, I went downstairs to get something to drink to find my Mom in the kitchen, home early. She didnt say much to me..that day. Later that week, Im out front working on my car and Mom comes outside to tell me "Little Screamer is on the phone for you.". She never called my girlfrind by her name after that. Yea, good times...

Another time I was at a different girl's house, this one lived with her sister. My girl had gone down on me in the hallway outside her bedroom when I heard a noise. I quickly turned and went into the first open door -the bathroom. She stood up and almost ran into her sister who had just come home. I spent the next 10 minutes trying to give myself a cold bath in their sink...

no but my mom did find my stash of condoms once...

i was freaked out when i found out she found them thinking i was going to get a lecture or something.

all she said to me was thank you so much for once in your life being responsible. i don't think i could take being a grandmother yet. lol

Pretty much the speech I gave my son ... plus a reminder to dispose of used ones appropriately!

I find this thread quite interesting.

I was raised feeling like it was wrong to even kiss a boy before marriage. My parents knew I did it but it was something we didn't talk about and I felt like i should hide it from them (crazy i know!)

Of course I'm fine with my kid having sex before marriage but I've never seen anyone parent with that mindset, so i'm not so sure how to go about it. I hope to be very open and comfortable about it all.

I hear you Cat... my parents weren't religious, but we didn't talk about sex... I've already been really open with my boys about it.

One time I almost got caught... my girlfriend and I went out to eat with my parents and afterwards I took her home in my dads truck and she went in for the bench seat BJ... she did the deed and let's just say that she didn't aim very well and my shirt was a mess... so I ended up having to sneak back in my house and change without getting caught. It was close, but I was successful.

    • It all sounds great. The only unknowns are injuries and how they will need to be addressed. Horn has a history as does the newly added Jaelen Phillips and Cooker has yet to play an entire season as well. And then there are the Ikey's - totally unexpecteded injuries that put a major wrench in your plans. I do think its a great plan though.
    • If we pay Bryce like a franchise QB we're completely and utterly buttfuged.
    • In my view, the realistic expectation for this team to compete will start 2027.  At that time, I think we could be looking at the following (this is HIGHLY speculative):   QB:  You know, Bryce.  I am not a fan, but they don't ask me.  But there is reason for hope--and here it is.  Bryce will be entering his prime.  Since we are likely to pay him, there will be changes that I include throughout this exercise--I realistically speculate on what they are going to do with Bryce and then I realistically speculate on what means in terms of the cap and other positions. Bryce HAS IMPROVED.  The idea is that if you give him more weapons and protection, that will continue.  His career:   At this rate, if his growth continues, by 2027 we should expect nearly 30 TDs and about 12 Interceptions and a Rating of about 98.  His completion percentage should settle at 65-66% or so.  If that happens, you can win with it. The following stats demonstrate how the Panthers will be able to afford it (and re-sign Ickey) My guess is they will require about $60m per year. This is why rookies who can play are important.  It also helps us see the blueprint.  You may disagree, but this is the cruel realities of the salary cap. Robert Hunt:  Cut post June 1 and save $19m.  Who do you replace him with?  Ickey. Tershawn Wharton:  Cutting him saves nearly $15m.  We should all hope to see Aaron Hall (UDFA) make the roster and play well.  Regardless, this is a position we would likely have to address in the next draft. Trevin Moehrig:  Cutting Moehrig as the starting SS saves this team $16.5m.   Ransom will be on year 3 of a cheap rookie deal and should be more than ready to take the reins.  their styles are similar.  Furthermore, FS Wheatley (R, 4th round) will be starting. Taylor Moton:  So much depends on his knee, but I have an idea that he can play another 3 years.  extending him could save the team about $5m per year.  Cutting him outright would save the team about $21m. In the most drastic situation, we have to cut Moton and the other three players mentioned.   We would need (in all likelihood) a starting DT and RT.  It is possible that the DE would be addressed, but Wharton's production (so far) could be equaled by a rookie.  Look for a cut free agent and a 2027 draft pick here.  If you cut Moton, you save $21m, and that would be the only big hole to fill.  Having Ickey at RG gives you some depth at T, and Ickey could be the guy.  T could be pick in the 2027 draft (first round), fwiw.  It saves you $21m while costing you $5m, for example. We get younger, creating a core of Freeling, Hecht, and the RT first rounder in 2027) along with Ekownu (second contract in the $15m range, and Lewis, whose contract would be in the $16m range if not extended.)  The OL cuts (Hunt, Moton) would save $40m.  The OL would get younger and still solid with veterans at G.   By cutting Wharton (no brainer if his play stays the same) and Moehrig (good player--but we have Ransom on a rookie contract who would not be that much of a drop off--if any) in addition to Hunt and Moton, we would save over $70m in cap room. We would be able to give Bryce bag  and we would have enough to re-sign Ickey (if the knee is not too risky) to a Guard contract (probably at a discount, coming off that injury).  Furthermore, we could add a RT in the draft (or a RG if Ickey moves to RT) and that would be the only large hole to fill. Correct my logic if you see issues-- On defense, in addition to the aforementioned, Scott ($2m contract) is out, replaced by a 4th round rookie contract. CB Jackson's contract ($7.8m) expires and he is (possibly) replaced by a rookie contract.  At Edge, patrick Jones II's $10m contract expires and he is likely a reserve, and his role is absorbed by Phillips, Scourton, Princely, and possible an UDFA like Isaiah Smith or a 2027 draft pick.   These productive developmental players over the past 2 drafts will pay huge dividends.  On paper, I see the team getting much younger and possibly better while cutting nearly $100m and reallocating that money to get more production.
