Heading to camp once again

Good practice this morning and I got a lot of tweets posted, as did Tattoo.

Tattoo is done for the day but I'm going back for the next practice at 3.

Fox was really chewing on some guys on defense, hanging around the LB's and Safeties most of the time.

The emphasis on ST's is still in full effect.

Cantwell looks like garbage today.

DE's are doing some work on the LT's, it's a pretty even match up. Hardy clowned The Dude on one play and would have been responsible for a chalk outline if it was a game.

Lot's of nice catches today and it's refreshing to see Smith back on the field making the kinds of catches only he can make.

Lefell has had several nice grabs, as have Edwards, Barnidge, King and Jarrett.

Wallace right caught 100 extra balls from the juggs machine right after practice.

Gettis looks pretty good, but needs to work on his hands some more, perhaps he should join Wallace.

Stewart did light work today, but it was still good seeing him back on the field.

Good or bad sign?

Moore and Clausen look good, though Clausen is holding the ball too long.

I'm glad Moore is showing well in camp. Maybe he just needs to settle down for the live games. In hindsight though, his Preseason play has always left me a little unimpressed.

Re: Clausen holding on to the ball - That's an odd reversal of what he showed Thursday. In fact, of the 4, he seemed to have the best timing on when to scramble and checkdown.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
