Panthers working to repair pass game

OMFG at the idiotic comments:

Miss Jake yet?

I do. I still believe he took too much of the heat for a poorly designed offensive sc

Yeah, isn't that the truth? A few folks should log on to the Cleveland Plain Dealer and read about how "bad" Jake's doing.

Me personally I would feel better about the article had the panthers used the Armati Edwards pick on Victor Cruz the undrafted receiver for the Giants. That is so sickening plus how we had a chance to get the other Steve Smith and bummed on that one too. The wr scouts for the panthers suck.

Damn those WR scouts and their inability to build a time machine!

Also I'm pretty sure every single team in the league passed over Cruz well over 200 times.

Cruz also muffed a punt.

Oh and he's been beasting against 2nd/3rd stringers.

I think your rushing your judgments a little.

I see, you are frustrated with the Edwards pick too, except you say we should have picked Cruz! Thanks for telling us this because it really sets you apart from the ones who wanted to draft Tate, or Gilyard, etc.......

Ok he muffed a punt, look at Armarti Edwards he muffed a punt and only had one reception that I can remember against the 3rd stringers. Lefell, Edwards and Jarrett failed to get a touchdown against the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, if there was a 4th and 5th I think they would have missed the boat. At least Cruz had 3 td's and we can't get one.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
