What movie ending are you still unresolved with?

"The Happening". Promising concept, but turned into a goofball environmentalist sermon.

Also, "Jeepers Creepers". The first half of that film was some of the scariest celluloid I ever watched (my ex-wife was so scared she wanted to leave) but then they ruined it by showing the "creeper" to be just another guy in a rubber monster suit.

No country for old men

Nice one. It eventually grew on me. The first time I saw it was on DVD. Got about a 1/3 thru the movie and it jammed up. Told all my friends not to say a word.

4 months later saw the rest and at first not digging it. But in the context and flow it made sense later.

That's a top 10 fav for me now.

Any movie with Hayden and no FF nude scene.

Seriously though, Gonna have to go with that Planet of the Apes remake. Should have never been made, and I guess Burton agrees since he hasn't made the sequel. He probably blames Mark Wahlberg. If Johnny Depp had been in it, he would already be up to Conquest of the Planet of the Apes.

Not trying to be cute, but every movie that I have ever watched, probably. They either start out bad and end in a displeasing manner or start out promising and still end in a displeasing manner. Sort of like every date I've been on.

Read the book.

I have to say both The Dark Knight and Inception. I have seen The Dark Knight several times, and I think it's a good movie. But I just can not understand what the "greatest movie of all time!!!" obsession is.

Then Inception came out and I was pretty excited to see it due to all the critical reviews, and I just did not get what was so spectacular. It seemed to me that so many people are just amazed that the ending wasn't set in stone, as if that's something creative or difficult to do.

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
    • Something like 24 now. The first 6 minutes were fun, after that, oh man. It was cool tho, a near capacity, with both teams well supported.
