Did anyone feel our offense sucks after watching GB?

One of my biggest gripes with Hurney was his unwillingness to go after top end QB's. He may finally be trying, with the Clausen pick, but we have gone far too long without one.

Great QB play seems to be the best way to achieve consistent winning seasons....something we have never really had here.

Aaron Rodgers slid down the draft if you recall. Just like Clausen.

Green Bay got lucky with that pick, as did Carolina. And even luckier that Rogers stuck it out through all the Favre drama and improved his game.

I recall very well. Of course he stuck it out, he was under contract. What is your point?

So did Brady Quinn, maybe a more apt comparison considering they played in the same offense. :auto:

      D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.

      I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
