My 4 month old is regressing nightly...

We were so proud she was sleeping from 7pm to 6 or 7 am, starting about 3 weeks ago.

So much for that.

This week, she has woken up at 5am, then 4 something, then last night 3:45. Not that she is even hungry, she is just up and awake.

Go put her pacifier back in her mouth, and she just looks at me smiling when i walk in. Wouldnt be so bad if she just laid awake and looked at the LullabyLight on the ceiling, but she likes to "talk" and quite loudly.

Then she rolls over onto her stomach, but she wont roll back onto her back, so she gets tired and starts fussing and i get up and flip her back over. She will eventually doze off again for an hour maybe, then repeat.

I went to bed at 12am last night. I know i saw 2,3,4,5 on the clock, and i finally got up for good with her at 6:30.

Yeah, im feeling chipper this week.

they have to figure it out themselves. 4 months is a big turning point and their sleep schedules have to be re-adjusted. Mine would do the opposite, roll onto her back and get all pissed off because she couldn't get back on her stomach. they figure it out but you'll sleep better in the long run if you let them cry it out and sacrifice a little sleep in the short run. If they think you're gonna come in and flip them over every time they start crying, you'll never hear the end.

Yeah, and it doesn't necessarily end soon.

Some kids are sleepers, others not so much.

But I would echo what one of the other posters mentioned. Who is conditioning whom?

If you go to her in the middle of the night, mission accomplished for her.

As tough as it is, you gotta play hardball or you are hers to command.

yeah, we are gonna let her stay on her stomach if she flips over from now on. Her problems was that when she was on her stomach, she wouldnt turn her head to the side, so she was face down...scared us thinking she wouldnt be able to breathe. Wife worked with her today and got her to sleep on her stomach with her head turned.

She really hasnt dictated us up until now, but admittedly she has this week. Ending tonight.

She wants to crawl so badly, but just hasnt gotten it all coordinated yet. She gets so pissed, its kind of funny.

    • Gonna be interesting to watch. All reporting indicates he's gonna be out. From what I'm hearing he's out. The interesting part will be what happens next. The job has been staying within the "family" since Dean retired. But there's no one within the family that makes any sense at all right now. They'll have to go outside the family to hire a coach that's likely to be successful and tension between the school and the basketball family is already high right now with this plot to move the arena to Carolina North because the folks within the basketball family want it to stay at the Dean Dome and they feel misled because they feel like there was never any real consideration of revamping the Dean Dome and this whole evaluation process was just meant to make it look like that was being considered. The best outcome here IMO is that we hire a great coach from outside the family and we revamp the Dean Dome as an olive branch to the family. But the powers that be REALLY want a new arena at Carolina North.
    • yeah outside of 3 shots in a row for arsenal nothing has happened.  I need a quick goal for them and then MC start to press.  Need 2 shots for Arsenal and all 4 still for MC
