DE Tyler Brayton returned to practice for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain in the preseason opener. His comeback gets their end rotation to full strength, allowing them to use Everette Brown and Greg Hardy in a second wave.

that's some second wave. i love it.

we'll be ok with The Dude. sutton being out is ok as well. means goodson gets more work. i'm anxious to see what they do with him.

probably means that either edwards or gettis will be active as well. probably edwards.

Brayton looked real good in his 1 preseason game too. I think rotating our DE's generating pressure from fresh Different style DE's is going to be awesome. You have the more power thing with hardy and brayton, and more speed with Johnson and Brown.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
