Fox says Moore has concussion

Gee...thanks, O-Line, you got our starting QB killed. Yes, I too knew the Giants D was much better than the homers on here did...but you knew that too and you played like a bunch of girls. Now if he can't go, we have to put in a rookie who will take at LEAST three games to even begin to get in gear. So, again, thanks guys. I'm sure our stellar D is also thanking you, knowing they'll be out there even longer next week. Good thing the Bucs are just as crappy as we are. Kasay for the win?

Holy fug you guys are horrible. One game. ONE GAME! This guy has a winning record as a starter and as badly as he played today, he still deserves a 2nd chance. Now people are happy he got hurt so Clausen can start? WTF man? Way to be premature bandwagon jumpers.

forget moore, forget clausen....I know alot of you guys have never seen Armanti Edwards play, but I can promise you from being a long time ASU fan he can get the job done. Forget size forget hes a rookie..HE IS NOT A WIDE RECIEVER. He is a qb and could be better than them..its sad that he probably will never get the chance. But o well the panthers will never learn well stick to moore and be in another delhomie era.

Was I seriously the only one who noticed that he got a concussion in the THIRD quarter? He took a lot of brutal hits all game, but there was one hit in the third that got him dazed and he played very strangely the rest of the game. It wasn't long after that that he did that really weird "bad decision" in the red zone when he threw the ball to the exact same place twice, both times to well covered players, the second attempt resulting in an interception.

The guy got a concussion a lot earlier in the game than people realize, but he kept playing out of courage/stupidity. It was the second concussion that took him out entirely.

I know a concussion when I see one, and his behavior was incredibly aberrant due to that earlier big, concussing hit.

I'm not an apologist; I don't care who's at QB as long as he handles the position well. I am saying that the offensive line let Moore get the crap beaten out of him so badly that he got hit so hard so many times that his decision making abilities were severlely affected. I have no idea how well he might have played, how good his decisions might have been if the O line didn't play unforgivably horribly, allowing so many hits.

And, of course, Moore's a decent guy, so no way in he'll is he going to let anyone else take the blame but himself. It's impossible to know what really happened out there on the field.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
